    Spanish Teacher – Middle School (Grades 6–8)

     

    Schedule: 7:40 AM–2:40 PM

     

    Contract: ASAP – End of School Year

     

    Modality: General Education (IL PEL w/ Spanish Endorsement)

     

    Caseload: Teaching Spanish to grades 6–8

     

    We’re looking for an energetic Spanish Teacher who can make language learning engaging, accessible, and fun for junior-high students. If you love sharing culture, sparking curiosity, and building student confidence, this role is for you.

    What You’ll Do

    + Teach daily Spanish lessons that help students speak, read, and write confidently

    + Create a positive, structured, student-friendly classroom

    + Build strong relationships with students and staff

    + Communicate effectively with families and administrators

    + Support learning goals and keep students engaged

    What You Need

    + Bachelor’s Degree or higher

    + Illinois teaching license with Spanish endorsement

    + Teaching experience preferred

    + Strong communication and classroom-management skills

    + Ability to follow and implement lesson plans

    + Meets all federal, state, and district requirements

    + CPR, TB/PPD, and health documentation as applicable

    + Must be 18+
