THE OPPORTUNITY
The AVP, Business Systems & nCino Administration will serve as a senior functional and technical contributor responsible for administering, enhancing, and supporting the Bank’s nCino platform. This role combines advanced business systems analysis, nCino administration, and Salesforce Flow design expertise to optimize commercial lending operations and enterprise workflows. The AVP partners with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure platform stability, scalability, and alignment with Banc of California’s objectives. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
+ Lead end-to-end delivery of nCino enhancements, including gathering and translating business requirements into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
+ Support the primary nCino administrator, assisting with configuration, workflow enhancements, page layouts, validation rules, data integrations, and user management.
+ Design, build, test, and deploy advanced Salesforce Flows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
+ Utilize and troubleshoot Apex classes and triggers in partnership with development resources; ability to understand Apex logic for impact analysis and solution design.
+ Act as liaison between business units, IT, and vendors to ensure optimal platform performance and solution delivery.
+ Conduct impact analysis related to configuration changes and cross-functional dependencies.
+ Manage upgrades, releases, and change requests in accordance with the Bank’s SDLC and Change Management policies.
+ Support and participate in User Acceptance Testing and develop test cases and scripts ensuring traceability to requirements.
+ Develop and maintain training materials, knowledge-base documentation, and self-service support tools.
+ Create and maintain reports and dashboards; perform data uploads as needed.
+ Participate in annual Disaster Recovery exercises and ensure alignment to business continuity standards.
+ Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for junior analysts or support staff.

+ Performs other duties and projects as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
+ Salesforce Administrator certification highly preferred; nCino Administrator experience required.
+ Additional Salesforce certifications a plus (Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I preferred).
+ 4–6+ years of experience in Business or Systems Analysis.
+ 3+ years of experience administering nCino with strong understanding of commercial lending workflows.
+ 4+ years of Salesforce administration experience with demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce Flow design.
+ Proficiency and understanding of Apex classes and triggers, including ability to read, interpret, and partner with developers on Apex-related solutions.
+ Strong understanding of SDLC, business process design, and cross-functional impact analysis.
+ Experience working with vendors and external technology partners.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and requirements gathering.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
+ Knowledge of federal compliance requirements applicable to lending systems (Reg B, HMDA, RESPA, TILA, BSA/AML, etc.).
+ Experience supporting incident management and system release cycles.
+ High School diploma or equivalent required

SALARY RANGE
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
