    Employment Horizons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people with barriers to employment in achieving their individual vocational objectives and establishing self-sufficiency in the community.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a Bilingual Employment Support Professional to provide individualized case management, counseling, and on-the-job support to adults with disabilities employed on Employment Horizons’ custodial contract at Picatinny Arsenal. This role focuses on supporting participants’ workplace success through regular coaching, collaboration with supervisors, job accommodations, and relationship-building, while ensuring compliance with AbilityOne/SourceAmerica requirements.     Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage a caseload of program participants employed on the Picatinny Arsenal custodial contract

    + Provide individualized coaching and counseling through regular one-on-one meetings

    + Maintain accurate service logs, case notes, and required documentation in the case management system

    + Collaborate with custodial supervisors to monitor job performance, workplace adjustment, and skill development

    + Support participants’ success through job accommodations, assistive technology, and natural supports

    + Facilitate positive working relationships between participants, coworkers, and supervisors

    + Screen and assess candidates from Career Development Services for program eligibility

    + Ensure compliance with AbilityOne/SourceAmerica requirements, including annual disability recertifications

    + Participate in department meetings and collaborate with internal teams to support employment outcomes

    + Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for participants

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    + Associate’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)

    + Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills

    + Sound judgment, common sense, and attention to detail

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    + Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field

    + Experience working with individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment

    + Experience with case management or person-centered planning

    + Knowledge of safe and proper use of cleaning equipment

    + Current CPR/First Aid certification

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use their hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
