Our client, a leading Biopharmaceutical Research organization, is seeking an Upstream and Downstream Bioprocess Technician to join their team. As a Bioprocess Technician, you will be part of the Bioprocess Discovery and Development (BDD) department supporting upstream and downstream processing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and collaborative skills which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Upstream and Downstream Bioprocess Technician (Contractor)

**Location:** Zionsville Road, IN

**Pay Range:** $27 - $31

What’s the Job?

+ Prepare, sterilize, and assemble bench-scale bioreactors for fermentation processes.

+ Prepare sterile media and feed solutions following SOPs.

+ Perform aseptic sampling and prepare samples for analytical testing.

+ Conduct downstream purification protocols, including liquid-liquid and resin-based extractions.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot bioprocessing equipment to ensure operational readiness.

What’s Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field.

+ Hands-on experience with bioreactors and upstream bioprocessing equipment.

+ Familiarity with aseptic techniques and downstream processing methods.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to work 100% on-site and lift up to 25 lbs.
