What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

+ Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or breaches of protocol within the location.

+ Maintain awareness of all entry and exit points and report any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with the enforcement of access control procedures and visitor management processes as required by site-specific guidelines.

+ Operate as an armed security professional, following all applicable regulations and protocols related to the carrying and use of firearms.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.

+ Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed during emergency and non-emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
