    We are seeking a Licensed Architect to join our Idaho team. Our firm is known for delivering high-quality design solutions for federal, state, and local government clients. With recent successes on large-scale Department of Defense and public sector projects, we are expanding to support long-term strategic growth.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead architectural teams through all phases of design and documentation, ensuring alignment with project goals, client expectations, and federal standards.

    + Oversee production work in Revit from schematic design through construction documents, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, facilitating clear communication, managing expectations, and building long-term relationships.

    + Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and proactively address risks or delays.

    + Mentor junior staff, coordinate with consultants and engineers, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

    + Ensure all deliverables meet applicable codes, DoD criteria, and federal agency requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed Architect with 7-10 years of architectural design experience for federal, mixed-use, or commercial projects.

    + Proficiency in Revit with a strong understanding of federal design standards.

    + Experience in government/municipal facilities.

    + Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deadlines.

    + Experience with construction documents and architectural project management.

    + Strong leadership and communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture.

    + Experience mentoring junior architects.

    + Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and design development.

    Work Environment

    The position offers a flexible work schedule with in-office hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work-from-home options on Monday and Friday. Work four 9-hour days and a half day on Friday, with hours ranging from 7AM to 5PM or 8AM to 6PM, and 8AM to 12PM on Friday. The office environment is collaborative, with 2-3 additional team members.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moscow, ID.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $55.28/hr.
