    Job Title: General Warehouse Worker

    Join a leading producer of Silestone quartz surfaces, a family-owned business renowned for its innovative design, production, and distribution of architectural and decorative solutions made from natural stone. This role involves participating in the entire natural stone manufacturing process, from extraction and processing to installation of quartz surfaces.     Responsibilities

    + Assist with light demolition work, including the breakdown of A-frames.

    + Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

    + Clean and prepare renovation sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.

    + Operate basic hand and power tools.

    + Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

    + Assist skilled tradespeople as needed.

    + Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to unload, load, and lift heavy materials.

    + Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.

    + Experience in warehouse and distribution environments.

    + Fluency in English and strong reading skills.

    + Self-confidence, flexibility, initiative, and safety orientation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a similar general laborer role.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with fans provided for circulation but no air conditioning or heating system. Openings are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, providing flexible work schedule options.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
