Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an Electrician to join our team!

The Electrician installs, tests and repairs electrical components and power distribution circuits.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, occasional weekend.

Experience/Qualifications

+ Knowledge of electrical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Courses in blueprint reading, mathematics, communication, safety, schematic reading, physics and knowledge of electrical systems.

+ An Associate/Technical School Degree in Industrial Electronics beneficial.

+ State approved electrician apprenticeship or equivalent.

+ Five years’ experience as an electrician with a background in industrial and commercial construction and maintenance necessary.

+ Wisconsin Electrician license preferred.

+ Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

+ Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.

+ Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
