Key Responsibilities
+ Develop policies and procedures for the delivery of MAT services in the State of Alabama.
+ Maintain and report statistics related to MAT services per site and statewide roll ups.
+ Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the ADOC client.
+ Observe and audit services on site as needed to ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures.
+ Monitor for compliance and prepare improvement plans as required.
+ Responsible for recommending process changes due to the dynamic changes of operational needs.
+ Establish and maintain a strong relationship with YesCare leadership, ADOC, OHS, vendors, ancillary team, and a professional relationship with patients.
+ Update protocols, provide in-service training as needed.
+ Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to enhance quality of care.
+ Perform administrative tasks as needed.
+ Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate auditing policies, procedures, and standards for addiction medicine services by site and regional levels.
+ Direct changes that adhere to and in compliance with contractual requirements, substance abuse policies and procedures, accrediting body, and local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Ensure current evidenced-based clinical practice is consistent with the standards.
+ Ensures the process and procedures of all levels of approved FDA-Approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder delivers and complements the standards of practice.
+ Stay updated on all laws and regulations.
+ Collaborate with reentry team to plan MAT services for those discharged from ADOC.
+ Participate in site inspections/surveys and ensure the programs are within compliance and are audit ready.
+ Participate in weekly OHS / ADOC updates.
+ Assist in writing for Grants, access to additional monies to support the programming within the ADOC.
+ Prepare reports necessary for ADOC to seek funding from the Alabama Legislature.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse Licensure or LMSW, LPC, LICSW in the State of Kentucky
Must Have 5 years Corrections experience at Site Level Operations in a health care unit.
Must have 3 years’ experience with multi-facility operations including medical and mental health units.
Minimum 3 years working with patients with addictions and substance use disorder within corrections required.
Experience with MAT/MOUD preferred.
CPR certification A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
