$70,197.00 - $105,295.00

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
Responsibilities:
Supports management and business functional areas in planning for business interruptions. Collaborates with departmental leadership and stakeholders to identify critical business functions and develop continuity strategies. Utilizes business continuity management software to generate reports for all organizational levels
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Independently conduct business impact analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments to identify critical functions and dependencies. Conduct gap analyses and identify process improvement opportunities to strengthen program compliance and effectiveness. This includes providing consultation, analysis, remediation recommendations, and related initiatives outside of workshops, in alignment with organizational and departmental needs.
+ Facilitate workshops to develop, maintain, and test business continuity and recovery plans across the enterprise
+ Develop and deliver business continuity education and awareness to ensure resilience in the face of unforeseen disruptions and challenges
+ Document and manage program data in the business continuity software solution; generate meaningful enterprise reports
+ Support incident response and recovery efforts during disruptions, ensuring effective coordination and communication. Collaborate with emergency preparedness, IT resilience and risk management teams to align continuity strategies
+ Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor degree in business, healthcare or related discipline
+ 4 years of business continuity experience
+ or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (preferred)
+ Strong understanding of business continuity and resilience frameworks (e.g. ISO 22301, NFPA 1600, NIST SP 800-34)
+ Working knowledge of HIPAA, Joint Commission and other regulatory and accrediting business continuity controls relevant to URMC and UR and affiliates
+ Experience using business continuity software (e.g. Fusion Framework System, Archer, Recovery Planner, or similar)
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
+ Business continuity certification (BRCI, DRI, ISO or equivalent) preferred
