What We Offer
Overview: The Instructional Designer II plays a key role in creating impactful learning experiences that support a remarkable patient journey. This position designs, develops, and delivers innovative education strategies using diverse formats such as instructor-led training, virtual learning, and computer-based modules.
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (On call support required, as needed).
Department: EPIC Training
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze education needs and design blended learning solutions for assigned EPIC application(s).
+ Master EPIC application functionality and organization-specific workflows for your application area.
+ Build, test, and maintain training environments, including practice exercises and simulations.
+ Develop engaging instructional materials that align with adult learning principles and organizational goals.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training supports operational excellence and patient experience.
Ideal Candidate:
+ Experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
+ Strong understanding of EPIC applications and healthcare workflows (preferred).
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality training solutions.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Dimensions Training Manager
What We're Looking For
+ Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum three years of experience in healthcare, training, or education, required.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ Must obtain Epic certification(s) AFTER employment, must obtain each Epic certification(s) initially assigned within 6 months, required.
+ Training Environment Proficiency. Obtain AFTER employment, must obtain within 6 months., required.
