Location Description
Michael Foods, Inc. located in Gaylord, Minnesota is Minnesota's Healthy Heartland! Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets.

The position is responsible for the cleaning of the non-production areas of the farm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Empty wastebaskets and replace liners, dust furniture, clean light switches and phones, dust mop and damp mop hard surface floors, clean doors, windowsills and clean rugs in all offices including entrances, etc. to maintain a neat, clean and sanitary working environment.
+ Dust lockers, empty waste baskets, clean and refill all restroom dispensers, clean mirrors and chrome fittings. Clean and sanitize all toilets, showers, locker room benches, floors, walls, partitions and sinks in the men’s and women’s shower, restroom and lunchrooms to maintain Company GMP standards throughout the farm.
+ Washes/Dry onsite farm clothing. This includes folding and storing of clothing.
+ Sign/initial auditor’s Janitorial sheet in the farm break room.
+ Special projects as needed for audits.
+ Maintains regular and consistent attendance.
+ Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect personnel safety.
+ Complete training in Blood Born Pathogens
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
