    Job Description

    Eurofins Medical Device Services is looking for a **Production Planner** to join our team in Lancaster, PA. This individual will:

     

    + Execute efficient schedules on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources and equipment.

    + Collaborate with staff to identify scheduling requirements

    + Proactively monitors production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

    + Provide various scheduling analyses to ensure optimal schedules and provide staff recommendations.

    + Make recommendations to modify production dates based on materials and capacity fluctuations.

    + Lead and execute the expansion of the scheduling service to new teams and sites

    + Recognize and analyze problems with scheduling system to solve ongoing and repeat issues

    + Capture, store, and report on historical statistics

    + Generate daily or weekly production reports to leaders for critical decision-making purposes.

    + Maintain communication of information between the users and management concerning system development and maintenance needs, objectives, and strategies.

    + Champion and implement process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with new processes across service lines.

     

    Performs other related duties as required and directed

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate would possess:

    + 1-3 years of scheduling experience is preferred, but not required.

    + Experience with Microsoft Project is highly desirable

    + High level critical thinking and problem solving skills

    + Ability to think abstractly/conceptually about data fields, data relationships, and processes.

    + Project management or facilitation skills.

    + Strong communication skills

    + Ability to forecast and trend workload needs.

    + Basic understanding of pharmaceutical testing is not required, but would be beneficial

    + Excellent customer service skills.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + A high school diploma, Bachelor’s degree is preferred

    + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

     

    Additional Information

     

    Working schedule will be **Full-Time, Monday-Friday** **8a** **m-5pm.** Candidates **currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA** are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. This position is **NOT** remote.
