About the Role:
Interior Design position to support corporate projects. This role is responsible for assisting with the design and interiors of capital projects following company standards and guidelines. Job scope includes, but not limited to, collaborating with designers, project managers, architects, contractors, and clients on programming, space planning, furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment that reflect the brand identity, enhance productivity, and comply with applicable codes and standards.
What You’ll Do:
+ Manage small project teams as well as plan and supervise assignments of other team members.
+ Oversee the development of the initial phases of basic design, including evaluating client needs, programming, and space planning.
+ Develop 2D and 3D design concepts and planning strategies.
+ Make selections on products, materials, and finishes. This includes providing the specifications of furnishings, artwork, accessories, and plants.
+ Assist with submittal reviews and RFIs during the construction administration phase.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Impact the quality of own work.
+ Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Exchange straightforward information, asks questions and confirms understanding.
What You’ll Need:
+ Preferred, but not required, bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or related field from an accredited college or university.
+ NCIDQ certification or eligibility preferred.
+ Minimum, threeyears of experience in a client facing role, corporate facilities department, or architectural firm.
+ Experience with programming, design development, construction documents, commercial office furniture and employee moves.
+ Knowledge of building codes and ADA standards.
+ Experience with engaging, managing and directing vendors.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeamand Microsoft Office.
