Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with an active TS/SCI Poly to join and assist and meet mission needs for our government customers. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location.

What you will do

+ Monitor customer’s Risk Management Framework and related systems to ensure optimized performance and security

+ Support patching, upgrading, and migrating of Linux systems and VMs.

+ Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.

+ Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers

What you need to have

+ Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of SE experience

+ Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 2 years Linux system administration experience.

+ Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.

+ VM experience

+ Security+ cert
