Pharmacist

**Location:** Morrisville, NC

Shift Hours – M-F(9:00AM – 5:30PM) or M-F (5:30PM-2:00AM).

Pay -73.02/HR

Job Summary

The Pharmacist oversees daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate, and compliant medication dispensing in a long-term care setting. This role includes supervising staff, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage daily pharmacy workflow and production deadlines

+ Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, DEA, and payer regulations

+ Verify accuracy of prescriptions, labeling, and packaging

+ Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain pharmacy security

+ Prepare and/or oversee sterile IV medication preparation

+ Manage controlled substances and Schedule II inventory

+ Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation

+ Follow HIPAA and all company policies

Qualifications

+ BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school

+ Active pharmacist license in good standing

+ Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

+ Long-term care pharmacy setting

+ Ability to stand or sit for extended periods

+ Lift up to 25 lbs

**Pay Details:** $73.02 per hour
