    FRP Foreman

    **Location:** Marion, Ohio

    **Job Type:** Full-Time

    **Number of Openings:** 1

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced **FRP Foreman** to lead and coordinate multiple Lamination and Winding crews, along with supporting production teams, in the manufacturing of large-diameter FRP ducts, piping, and related components. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing all fabrication processes, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining a safe work environment, and driving continuous improvement through training and process development.

     

    The ideal candidate brings strong FRP technical knowledge, proven leadership experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in a production environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Production Floor Management

    + Plan, direct, and supervise daily production activities across all stages of manufacturing

    + Coordinate work between multiple crews and production professionals

    + Ensure quality FRP products are produced on schedule and within established timelines

    + Order raw materials and consumables as needed

    + Supervise, develop, and train employees

    + Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure production readiness

    2. Quality Control

    + Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards

    + Maintain high quality through consistent floor presence and interaction with Leads and employees

    + Monitor accuracy at each production step

    + Reduce quality issues and rework

    + Implement and enforce quality control standards aligned with production goals

    3. Safety

    + Enforce all safety protocols and company policies

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free production floor

    + Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards

    + Enforce proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals

    + Ensure employees follow emergency procedures and safe work practices

    4. Documentation

    + Complete required production reports, logs, and documentation accurately and on time

    Requirements

    + 8+ years of FRP manufacturing experience

    + 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment

    + Strong understanding of FRP materials, methods, and manufacturing practices

    + Knowledge of proper handling and mixing of composite materials

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints

    + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    + Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

    + Strong focus on safety and workplace security

    + No allergies to fiberglass-related materials or chemicals

    + Ability to work overtime when required

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Office)

    **Pay Details:** $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
