Job Title: Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our team as the first engineer on board. This position offers the unique opportunity to work directly under the Chief Technology Officer/Chief Engineer, contributing to the development of new products and playing a key role in building out our engineering department.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer/Chief Engineer to develop new products.

+ Assist in building and expanding the engineering department.

+ Utilize AutoCAD and other design software for mechanical design tasks.

+ Engage in mechanical engineering projects and tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles.

+ Experience with mechanical design and AutoCAD.

+ Knowledge of new product development processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Internships or hands-on experience in a related field are preferred.

+ Eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance.

Work Environment

+ This position is on-site with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Portsmouth, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
