Description

We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper with QuickBooks to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position requires a detail-oriented individual with comprehensive knowledge of accounting processes and payroll management. As a vital member of the team, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records and contribute to the smooth operation of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Process payroll for approximately 30 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform detailed reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.

• Handle month-end closing procedures to maintain accurate financial records.

• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to manage and track all accounting activities.

• Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.

• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards in financial practices.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to accounting or payroll processes.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in a similar role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and familiarity with accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management.

• Solid understanding of bank reconciliations and month-end procedures.

• Ability to generate accurate financial reports and interpret data effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial practices.
