Pharmacist Opportunity – Compliance & Leadership Role
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our long-term care pharmacy team in a dual capacity as Staff Pharmacist and Compliance Manager. This position plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement across pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments; recommend corrective actions.
+ Conduct quarterly Accountability Audits for the Control Room.
+ Monitor regulatory changes and update policies/procedures accordingly.
+ Deliver compliance training programs to pharmacy staff.
+ Maintain compliance records (training, audits, investigations, corrective actions).
+ Prepare reports for management and assist with regulatory inquiries.
+ Manage medication destruction program per EPA and DSCSA regulations.
+ Serve as a compliance resource for staff and leadership.
Qualifications
+ PharmD and Indiana Board of Pharmacy License required.
+ 5–7 years of pharmacist experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
+ Strong experience in audits, investigations, and corrective action implementation.
+ Experience in long-term care and retail pharmacy preferred.
+ Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance processes.
Work Environment
+ Closed-door pharmacy (no patient or insurance interactions).
+ Fast-paced, high-volume setting; primarily standing throughout the day.
+ Located in the controlled substances management area (“the cage”).
+ Occasional rotating shifts/weekend work possible.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
