    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will support the smooth operations of our facilities by ensuring everything runs efficiently and meets the required standards.     Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate daily operations to ensure the efficient functioning of the facility.

    • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

    • Assist with scheduling and overseeing routine maintenance tasks.

    • Provide support to the Facilities Director by managing administrative duties.

    • Collaborate with various departments to address facility needs and resolve concerns.

    • Maintain inventory records and order supplies as needed.

    • Support the planning and execution of facility upgrades or repairs.

    • Ensure all equipment and resources are functioning properly and meet company standards.

    • Respond to urgent facility requests and emergencies in a timely manner.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a facilities assistant or similar role preferred

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with different teams.

    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    • Familiarity with facility operations and maintenance preferred

    • Problem-solving skills to address issues promptly and efficiently.

    • Commitment to maintaining a safe and functional working environment.
