    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in New York, New York. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a crucial role in managing invoice processes and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a commitment to ensuring timely and accurate payments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process a high volume of invoices on a weekly basis, ranging from 50 to 100.

    • Accurately input financial data into accounting systems to maintain precise records.

    • Ensure timely payment of invoices to vendors and suppliers.

    • Utilize basic knowledge of Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.

    • Perform account reconciliation to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

    • Code invoices correctly according to company policies and procedures.

    • Conduct check runs and manage payment schedules efficiently.

    • Collaborate with team members to address any payment-related issues.

    • Maintain organized records for auditing and compliance purposes.

    • Work with various accounting software systems such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

    • Proficiency in processing invoices and performing data entry tasks.

    • Familiarity with account reconciliation and coding invoices.

    • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

    • Experience with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
