As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and reviewing manufacturing plans to meet customer specifications and design requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing processes align with the company's high standards, particularly in regulated industries such as aerospace and power generation.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure that customer specifications, design requirements, and information from quotations are integrated into the manufacturing plan.
+ Develop and review all routings (manufacturing plans) including decisions on multi-level routings, sequence of operations, and dimensional information.
+ Establish time standards that serve as performance measurements for all manufacturing plans, ensuring they relate to selling prices or real times based on previous experience.
+ Review all drawings for completeness and accuracy, addressing issues such as grind stock, reference dimensions, and metric to English conversions.
+ Communicate with customers to resolve open issues and decide if prints should be redrawn or transformed into operation sheets.
+ Review and sign off on all drawn prints and operation sheets, ensuring the information is complete and accurate.
+ Ensure manufacturing plans are reviewed by Quality Planning before release to manufacturing.
+ Review customer-generated engineering changes and initiate necessary changes to the manufacturing process.
+ Verify and sign off on changes or corrections regarding routing changes, process drawing changes, and print references.
+ Serve as a liaison between Materials, Manufacturing, Engineering, Tooling, and Programming, communicating pertinent information to relevant parties.
+ Maintain a professional and personable relationship with vendors, customers, and employees, being responsive to their needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
+ 5+ years of experience in a heavy industrial fabrication/CNC environment
+ Experience in regulated markets such as automotive, aerospace, or power generation
+ Experience with CNC machines/lathes/mills manufacturing processes
+ Design experience, preferably with NX or Mastercam
+ US Citizenship
+ Aerospace manufacturing/machining software experience (preferred)
Work Environment
This position is based in the Cincinnati, Ohio facility located in Springdale, OH. The facility employs 80 individuals, including 4 engineers. The role operates on a 1st shift schedule, requiring presence in the office five days a week from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The company is expanding and offers opportunities for growth, particularly in handling highly complex products used in highly regulated industries.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.89/hr.
