Job Title: Research Associate, Process Analytics
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Research Associate to join our Process Analytics team focused on characterizing Lentiviral Vectors (LVV). The successful candidate will work closely with senior staff and subject matter experts to perform diverse molecular, cellular, biophysical, and biochemical protocols. This role is integral to advancing our pipeline and enhancing our Analytical Development capabilities.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with method design, execution, and analysis to support the development of gene therapy products.
+ Conduct routine impurity and characterization testing, including HPLC, ELISA, qPCR, ddPCR, and flow cytometry to support process development.
+ Maintain detailed records of experimental work using an electronic notebook system in accordance with company guidelines.
+ Manage sample submissions for assigned methods and ensure timely data turnaround.
+ Uphold company core values and adhere to policies to ensure the safety and quality of gene therapy products and facilities.
+ Train on and perform up to 15 analytical methods, including plate design, sample preparation, data analysis, and electronic documentation.
+ Maintain inventory of reagents and laboratory supplies.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and method development on HPLC
+ Proficient in techniques such as ddPCR, qPCR, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
+ Experience in quality control, GMP, and laboratory aseptic techniques.
+ Familiarity with LIMS and QMS systems.
+ Knowledgeable in gene therapy and viral transduction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline; or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience.
+ 1 year of working experience for Research Associate level or 2-4 years for senior Research Associate level.
+ Experience with human cell culture and basic data analysis is a plus.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
+ Self-motivated, organized, and able to maintain clear documentation.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.52 - $45.34/hr.
