    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Billing Supervisor/Manager to join our client's team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This Contract to permanent position offers a unique opportunity to lead training and quality initiatives within the healthcare revenue cycle. The role requires a collaborative and thorough individual who can drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development, organization, and maintenance of training materials, standard operating procedures, and educational programs for the revenue cycle.

    • Supervise employees responsible for creating and updating training content, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Design and implement onboarding and ongoing education programs for billing staff to enhance their performance and compliance.

    • Track and analyze training effectiveness using metrics and performance indicators, making adjustments as needed.

    • Ensure all staff processes and documentation align with healthcare regulations and company policies.

    • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement in billing operations.

    • Conduct audits and recommend strategies to enhance quality and efficiency across the revenue cycle.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, compliance updates, and best practices in healthcare billing and staff training.

    • Promote accountability and a culture of continuous learning within the team.

    • Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports, fostering growth and development.

     

    Requirements • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical revenue cycle or billing operations, with a focus on training or quality assurance.

     

    • Proven supervisory experience in healthcare billing environments, demonstrating leadership and team management skills.

    • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and billing regulations.

    • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach to leadership.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and other tools relevant to billing and training.

    • Familiarity with healthcare payer systems and provider networks.

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in the industry.
