Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Everett, Washington. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial collections and financial operations. The role involves managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring timely cash applications and collections.

Responsibilities:

• Process and apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts.

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue balances.

• Conduct outreach to customers for collection of outstanding payments with attention to detail and professionalism.

• Handle billing functions and ensure invoices are sent out promptly and correctly.

• Reconcile cash activity and maintain accurate records of all transactions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or disputes related to billing or payments.

• Prepare regular reports detailing accounts receivable performance and collection efforts.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.

• Provide excellent customer service to clients while addressing inquiries related to accounts receivable. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and commercial collections.

• Proficiency in cash applications and reconciliation processes.

• Strong knowledge of billing functions and financial operations.

• Ability to analyze and manage AR aging reports effectively.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for handling customer collections.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
