Job Title: Manual Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist who will be responsible for setting up and operating a manual lathe, regularly inspecting tools and equipment to produce precision parts, and ensuring the accuracy of measuring equipment using the standard in the inspection room. The successful candidate will also communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to the shop foreman and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate a manual lathe.
+ Regularly inspect tools and equipment to produce precision parts.
+ Communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to the shop foreman.
+ Ensure measuring equipment accuracy using the standard in the inspection room.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in operating a manual lathe.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Understanding of CNC and lathe operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3+ years of experience, ideally with manual lathe or manual mill.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled machine shop that operates a 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Experience a family-oriented environment with a collaborative CNC crew
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Butler, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
