Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and transporting materials to support our cleanroom kit assembly operations.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize a pick sheet and RF scanner to accurately select products for kitting assemblers.

+ Load picked materials into grey totes and place them on the conveyor system.

+ Ensure materials are correctly counted and transported into the cleanroom.

+ Engage in physical activities including walking, climbing, and lifting.

+ Follow written work instructions meticulously.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to count accurately, especially when handling products in varying pack sizes.

+ Capable of standing for 8 hours.

+ Able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings.

+ Experience with picking or kit assembly.

+ Familiarity with cleanroom environments.

Work Environment

Our Waukegan site is a state-of-the-art cleanroom facility. Employees work in close quarters and are required to adhere to strict gowning protocols to maintain a contamination-free environment. The work schedule includes first and second shifts with potential overtime on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WAUKEGAN, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
