Job Title: Assembly

Job Description

This role involves assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units. You will use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment to fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. You may also repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements. The position requires knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training, and involves clearly defined procedures and tasks with guidelines to aid in decision-making.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble mechanical units and components to create subassemblies or complete units.

+ Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures to perform assembly tasks.

+ Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet product specifications.

+ Repair units or products that do not meet operating requirements.

+ Follow detailed and defined rules and instructions in straightforward situations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with assembly of mechanical and electrical/electronic systems.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures.

+ Ability to fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms.

+ Understanding of work routines and procedures in the assembly discipline.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

+ Familiarity with medical device assembly.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ventura, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
