    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    As a Mechanical Assembler, you will start with packaging printers, which includes lifting up to 40 lbs, to gain an understanding of the printer's intricate details. You will perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for printers on a production line, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. You will work across multiple stations throughout the day, read blueprints and schematics to assemble parts, and conduct inspections before and after assembly to ensure quality. You will also be responsible for data entry of any rejected or flawed parts into the company database.

    Responsibilities

    + Package printers and handle components weighing up to 40 lbs.

    + Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for printers by hand.

    + Work at various stations during the workday.

    + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools for product assembly.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for part assembly.

    + Inspect parts before and after assembly for quality assurance.

    + Enter data of rejected or flawed parts into the company database.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

    + Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
