TIG Welder – Water Filtration Systems
**Location:** Chaska, MN
**Pay:** $30/hr
**Schedule:** 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
About the Role
Join our growing team as a **TIG Welder** and help build high-quality water filtration systems. This position focuses on **custom TIG welding** with additional tasks such as metal cutting and operating fabrication equipment. If you’re detail-oriented and passionate about precision work, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform **custom TIG welding** on stainless steel piping.
+ Cut metals and operate fabrication equipment as needed.
+ Read and interpret **engineering drawings and blueprints** .
+ Grind, cut, and prepare metal for welding.
+ Set up production areas for maximum efficiency.
+ Position and secure parts in fixtures; create jigs when necessary.
+ Follow company welding procedure specifications for consistency.
+ Inspect welds for quality and specifications.
+ Repair metal objects, fill holes, and build up parts.
+ Weld in **flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions** .
+ Maintain a safe work environment and handle gas cylinders properly.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in **TIG welding on stainless steel piping** .
+ Ability to pass **3” 304 sch. 40 6g pipe test** and **½” 304 sch. 10 6g pipe test** .
+ Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
+ Basic math for measurements and calculations.
+ Problem-solving in standardized situations.
Qualifications
+ **One-year technical certificate** or **three years of related experience** .
+ Welding certification preferred (or ability to certify within weeks – paid by company).
+ Strong understanding of safety rules and equipment maintenance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
