    Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

     

    The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks using walkie riders and pallet jacks, as well as moving products around the facility. The role is critical in maintaining production efficiency, organizing workspace, and upholding quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload and load trucks, delivering materials to production.

    + Handle documentation for material receipts and deliveries.

    + Deliver materials to the production floor.

    + Analyze and estimate workload based on order sheets.

    + Perform checks on delivered raw materials and record inspections.

    + Inspect and maintain equipment, including cleaning, checking, and adding fluids.

    + Conduct quality checks using microscopes, micrometers, and other measuring devices.

    + Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and walkies.

    + Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ensuring safety compliance.

    + Prepare required documentation.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work area following the 6S standard.

    + Understand department workflow and processes, with attention to detail.

    + Communicate effectively with co-workers both verbally and in writing.

    + Adhere to company rules and policies.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.

    + Support proper implementation of processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

    + Operate and maintain tools and equipment within the functional area.

    + Train others at the same or lower level within the functional area.

    This is a Contract position based out of De Soto, KS.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
