Job Title: Outdoor Material Handler** **Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Outdoor Material Handlers with three openings available, one for each shift. This role is primarily outdoors, requiring individuals to handle materials using a sit-down hi-lo. The position involves moving materials between plants in an extensive outdoor setting, working under various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a sit-down hi-lo to move materials from plant to plant outdoors.

+ Work effectively in a variety of weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.

+ Adhere to mandatory weekend work when requested by clients, including both Saturdays and Sundays.

+ Comply with safety regulations, including wearing appropriate outdoor and safety attire.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience with hi-lo operation.

+ A valid driver's license.

+ Ability to work in outdoor environments and on weekends as required.

+ Possession of steel-toed boots.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in production or general labor is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is fully outdoors, involving driving a hi-lo to transport materials across a large facility. Employees are expected to dress appropriately for cold weather, including wearing a coat, snow pants, gloves, a hat, and steel-toed boots. Shifts vary with day, afternoon, and night options available, with mandatory hours on Saturdays and Sundays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
