Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will operate Haas VF2, VF3, VF4, and VF11 machines, running parts and secondary operations on stamped and bent parts. You will inspect machined parts using basic quality tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges. You will also read blueprints to perform quality checks on machine and fabricated parts, and handle general quality documentation and paperwork.
Responsibilities
+ Operate Haas VF2, VF3, VF4, and VF11 machines.
+ Perform secondary operations on stamped and bent parts.
+ Inspect machined parts using basic quality tools including micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
+ Read blueprints to execute quality checks.
+ Handle general quality documentation and paperwork.
+ Work in compliance with ISO 2001 – 2008/AS9100 standards.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of recent experience as a quality inspector in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
+ Experience working in an ISO regulated shop.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ G&M Code knowledge.
+ 2+ years of CNC Mill experience and/or a Technical Degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous sheet metal experience.
+ Previous job shop experience.

Work Environment
You will work in a medium-sized room adjacent to the manufacturing floor with your own desk in the department. The first shift runs from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays. Additional hours are common after shifts, on Friday afternoons, and sometimes on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
