    Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas City's premier retirement community and a proud member of the Saint Luke's Health System. We are looking for a customer-focused Receptionist to work on a PRN (as needed) basis (as described below). The Receptionist is the initial positive contact point for resident and visitor encounters. In addition, our Receptionists have the following accountabilities:

     

    + PRN covering the 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedule on an as-needed basis

    + Meets and greets visitors to the community in a friendly and positive manner.

    + Answers telephone, determines nature of call and directs caller to appropriate individual or department.

    + Maintains current listings of resident and staff phone numbers.

    + Scheduling and dispatching drivers for resident transportation.

    + Processes maintenance and housekeeping work orders.

    + Makes photocopies, sends faxes, and performs other administrative duties for residents and department managers.

    + Processes and distributes incoming mail. Helps send outgoing mail. Sells stamps to residents and staff.

    + Monitors and responds to fire alarm system and weather radio.

    + Distributes employee lockers and parking tags.
