THE POSITION
The Washington County Housing Authority is searching for a professional to lead our office in advancing safe, affordable, and sustainable housing opportunities for the community. As an Executive Director, you will be providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure compliance with established regulations while implementing housing programs. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing operations of Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8), Capital Fund Program, Procurement, and other affordable housing initiatives. Work involves developing long-term strategic plans that align with PHA's missions and goals; as well as providing visionary leadership, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and service. You will have the opportunity to manage budgets, ensure financial integrity through audits, pursue funding opportunities for development initiatives, and serve as the point of contact for the agency. Additional responsibilities include:
+ Developing local procedures, rules, and regulations
+ Identifying and coordinating renovations
+ Preparing a variety of reports
+ Handling recruitment efforts, conducting training, and completing employee performance reviews
+ Addressing resident concerns
+ Working closely with community stakeholders and local government to provide housing opportunities for eligible residents

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Three years of professional administrative supervisory experience in a housing authority or other publicly or privately owned government subsidized housing and a bachelor’s degree;or
+ Four years of professional administrative experience in residential property management, which included two years of supervisory experience, and a bachelor’s degree;or
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training which included three years of professional administrative supervisory experience in subsidized housing or four years of professional administrative experience in residential property management, which included two years of supervisory experience.
