    Here's What You Need

    * Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required

    * Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred

    * 5 years relevant work experience with at least 4 years in healthcare operations with experience in project management and/or large scale health care organizational change required

    What You Will Do

    * The Project Director is responsible for leading execution of projects in support of strategic priorities to further Texas Health's consumer value proposition. This role is responsible for engaging and coordinating organizational resources to deliver key objectives within a specified time frame (typically rapid cycle) while securing buy-in for solution(s). Responsible for planning and driving end-to-end execution of system-level projects.

    * Leading and managing cross-functional teams and utilizing knowledge of change management to interface with senior and department leaders to drive execution and reach value realization goals.

    * Works with leadership and project stakeholders to ensure metrics of success are aligned with strategic objectives and the conceptual design of the project.

    * Leads coordination of activities across multiple business units for projects. Understands and creates critical path, providing planning support and identifying and managing dependencies to meet established key milestones. This often includes creation of workplans, timelines, and schedules to organize complex projects.

    * Serves as a communication liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, the project team, and other functional or departmental leaders to ensure understanding of all necessary aspects of the project and objectives are being met. Positions solutions and secures buy-in. This requires regular written and verbal communication to communicate complex issues succinctly and clearly to drive crucial conversations, alignment, and decisions.

    * Works with leadership in recommending resource sequencing based on understanding of capacity.

    * Leads change through crucial conversations to align leaders and teams towards strategic goals. Relational power is a key aspect of the work.
