    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Oversees Service Department and provides leadership and direction to achieve company objectives

    + Manage growth strategies that are in line with company goals and objectives

    + Participate in the preparation and administration of the annual operating budget

    + Promotes harmony and teamwork within and across all departments

    + Participate in the preparation of marketing plans to attract new and repeat business.

    + Adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations impacting operations.

    + Oversee recruitment, hiring, termination, training, and yearly performance evaluations for all service personnel

    + Develop efficient service team including service advisors, shop and mobile service technicians

    + Ensure quality control to meet customer satisfaction and comply with OEM and industry standards.

    + Understand and promote safety, environmental and company policies

    + Promote and uphold a high standard of professionalism within the workplace.

    + Plan, monitor, and evaluate productivity and financial goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and make adjustments as necessary.

    + Engage in company provided training and education to stay updated on operational, technical, and strategic needs for excellent customer service

    + Assist service advisors and parts personnel with job scheduling, preparing quotes, and handling customer interactions.

    Position Requirements:

    + A minimum of five years of relevant dealership management experience in the areas of heavy-duty truck, bus, and/or transport refrigeration service

    + Understanding of fundamental business systems, financial principles, and practices

    + Facilitate relationships with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers

    + Proficient with computer operation/usage

    + Demonstrates exceptional skills in problem-solving, administration, and management

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Normal shift hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional after hours phone support as needed
