    Position Types: Full Time | Part Time | PRN

    Shifts Available:

    + Days: 7:00am – 7:00pm

    + Nights: 7:00pm – 7:00am

    Sign-On Bonus:

    + $5,000 for eligible Full-Time roles in Hilton Head & Mount Pleasant

    Novant Health is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants across the South Carolina market to support our Acute Care units including ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Inpatient Rehabilitation. Whether you’re newly certified and ready to begin your career or an experienced CNA looking to expand your clinical scope, this role offers the opportunity to float across multiple specialties while delivering exceptional patient care.

    Position Summary

    Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care to a diverse patient population ranging from infant to geriatric. The CNA assists with activities of daily living, monitors patient status, and maintains a safe and clean environment in alignment with Novant Health standards of care.

     

    This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety, including the ability to float to comparable nursing units or facilities throughout the South Carolina market as staffing needs arise.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, and other clinical observations.

    + Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and personal care.

    + Monitor patient condition and promptly report abnormal findings to the Registered Nurse.

    + Support infection prevention practices and patient safety initiatives.

    + Stock patient rooms, perform basic equipment maintenance, and maintain unit readiness.

    + Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to meet departmental and hospital goals.

    + Provide compassionate, customer-focused care in fast-paced acute care environments.

    + Float to comparable units including ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Inpatient Rehab as assigned.

     

    What We're Looking For

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program or current CNA, EMT, or Certified Medical Assistant certification

    + Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification

    + Previous hospital experience preferred
