    BayCare is seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst II to join our Finance Division. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting and finance who are ready to take on more complex responsibilities and grow into leadership.

    What You’ll Do in This Role

    + Work independently within your area of responsibility, with periodic interaction across all levels of management

    + Conduct research on moderately complex financial and accounting topics

    + Serve as the financial representative for moderately to highly complex clinical or business service lines

    + Prepare and enhance processes for financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting

    + Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis

    + Facilitate and analyze data for operating and capital budgets and forecasts

    + Prepare and ensure accuracy of regulatory reporting

    + Ensure compliance with capital asset management policies

    + Coordinate charge master services

    + Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks

    + Begin developing leadership skills by participating in and leading low-to-moderate complexity projects within the Finance Division

    Required Qualifications

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; OR

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance; OR

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field

    Experience:

    + Minimum 2 years in Accounting; OR

    + Minimum 2 years in Finance-related roles; OR

    + Minimum 3 years in a related field

     

    High-level understanding of EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) functions

     

    Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

     

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    CPA certification (Accounting)

     

    Grant accounting experience
