    Responsibilities:

    + The Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) is a full clinical member of the health care team and is considered the lead expert in Spiritual Care issues.

    + Provide services for the pastoral/spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff members. Knowledgeable in theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Required Certification is NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains) or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains) or NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains).

    + Required Education is a Master's Degree from and Accredited University in Theology Related.

    + 4 units, 1600 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education.

    + Required - Ecclesiastical endorsement.
