Here, you’ll have the tools and opportunities to advance your career while creating software that changes the world.

    Your role and responsibilities

HashiCorp’s security platforms currently secure human-to-system and system-to-system access. This new focus extends that mission to the world of autonomous agents. The platform will manage the lifecycle of AI agent identities (e.g., decentralized identifiers or verifiable credentials), enforce dynamic access policies (e.g., using Policy as Code), and ensure compliance for all AI-to-resource and AI-to-AI communications. This role is dedicated to pioneering the product features that address the unique security and governance challenges posed by large-scale agent deployments. This role sits at the convergence of AI, advanced security protocols, and product strategy. You will work with AI developers, security architects, and compliance officers to understand their needs and advance our Agentic AI IAM product line.

    Responsibilities:

    *

Craft the product story by understanding the evolving AI security landscape, user needs for agent governance and access control, and HashiCorp principles.

    *

Write detailed product strategy documents focused on AI identity, authorization, and secure interaction protocols to set the context for the product roadmap.

    *

Prioritize the product roadmap by taking feedback from AI practitioners, security researchers, engineering, marketing, and the HashiCorp vision regarding agent security capabilities.

    *

Conduct user research and write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to distill the research into requirements for engineering to deliver.

    *

Communicate product status to all partners. Keep sales and marketing updated on feature releases and keep engineering informed on feature requests.

    *

Help with sales and marketing collateral to educate on the product story and features (Website copy, whitepapers, sales decks, FAQs, etc).

    Required technical and professional expertise

    * 5+ years of product management experience with security, IAM (Identity and Access Management), or enterprise AI/ML products.

    * Strong technical understanding of security, policy enforcement, audit logs, and AI platform architectures.

    * Strong user and market research skills, particularly within the AI and enterprise security space.

    * Ability to organize multiple stakeholders towards a common goal.

    * Analytical with the ability to prioritize and make tradeoffs.

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    * 1+ years of experience with concepts like fine-grained authorization (e.g., OPA/Rego), or securing cloud-native AI/ML pipelines.

    * Direct knowledge of or experience planning for challenges related to securing autonomous agents (e.g., prompt injection, tool access control) is highly desirable.

    * Strong technical acumen, with a solid understanding of infrastructure, open source, and the lifecycle of digital identities.
