    What You'll Be Doing

    + Operate dredge equipment safely and efficiently to extract sand and gravel.

    + Monitor dredging operations and adjust controls to maintain optimal production.

    + Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on dredge machinery.

    + Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational needs.

    What Are We Looking For

    + Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment in a safe manner.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

    + Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    + Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.

    + Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities.

    Conditions of Employment

    + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

    + Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.

    Work Environment

    + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

    Physical Demands

    + Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.

    + Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting of heavier materials with assistance.

    + Manual dexterity to operate controls and perform maintenance tasks.

    + Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as needed.

    + Visual and auditory acuity to monitor equipment and surroundings safely.

    + Starting Pay $28.64 per hour DOE
