    What You'll Be Doing

    + Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting

    + Learn to install, maintain, and calibrate plant equipment and instrumentation

    + Support preventative maintenance programs and document work performed

    + Participate in safety inspections and follow all safety protocols

    + Attend required technical schooling as part of the 2.5-year apprenticeship program

    What Are We Looking For

    + Strong interest in electrical and mechanical systems

    + Ability to work safely and follow detailed instructions

    + Willingness to learn and attend required schooling

    + Demonstrated reliability and teamwork

    + Basic computer literacy and communication skills

    Conditions of Employment

    + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

    + Enrollment and active participation in the 2.5-year apprenticeship program, which includes classroom instruction and on-the-job training

    Work Environment

    + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

    + $22.00 per hour upon entry into the Apprenticeship Program. Increases will be provided halfway through the program and upon successfully completing the program.
