Job Summary

Provide customer service for HCA FL Ocala & West Marion Hospitals as well as the 7 stand-alone emergency facilities. Answer and route incoming calls; take process and dispatch maintenance work orders, monitor hospital alarms and call codes. Follows policies and procedures of HCA FL Ocala & West Marion Hospitals. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to our standards of behavior.

Responsibilities** **:

+ **Monitor hospital alarms and call codes.**

+ **Answer and route incoming calls appropriately.**

+ **Provide physician paging services to include taking, processing, and routing consults.**

+ **Flexible, punctual and dependable attendance is required (needed for ALL 3 shifts).**

+ **SHIFTS TO BE COVERED** **: 5A-5P, 8A-8P & 5P-5A**

+ **Promotes positive customer service with internal and external customers.**

Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors** **:

+ **High school diploma or GED equivalent**

+ **Ability to use a multi-line switchboard.**

+ **Efficient organizational skills.**

+ **Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.**

+ **Ability to read and comprehend written/verbal instructions effectively.**

+ **Good analytical and customer relations skills.**

+ **Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer/clerical skills.**

+ **Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.**

+ **Working dependently, self-starter, motivated, team player, results oriented.**
