Maintenance Technician (AL)

Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are looking for an energetic, motivated and results oriented individual to join our Maintenance Team in Pell City, Alabama.

Salary Range: $26.40 - $38.60 hour

**Qualifications:** A minimum of 2 - 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in the following areas:

+ Electrical

+ Controls

+ Low and Medium AC and DC voltage

+ Motors

+ Instrumentation

+ Electrical print reading

+ Mechanical

+ Drive Systems (V-belts, gears, chain drives, gearboxes)

+ Bearing installation and maintenance

+ Couplings & shaft alignment

+ Packing and seals

+ Lubrications

+ Dust collectors and fans

+ Mechanical print reading

+ PLC aptitude

+ PLC trouble shooting and repair

+ Hydraulics

+ Air Compressors

+ Forklift and battery maintenance

+ Docks and Overhead door maintenance

+ Must have good verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal capabilities

+ Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative

+ Able to work in all types of conditions (heights, cold/hot, dirty, confined space, etc.)

+ A strong working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (work order, purchasing and inventory) and a general knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance are preferred.

+ Ability to wear a respirator.
