Saint Alphonsus is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as Manager of Student Services, driving the development and execution of academic partnerships, student clinical coordination, student programming, and clinical career pathways for Nursing and Allied Health service lines. This role is pivotal in shaping the future workforce and positioning Saint Alphonsus as a leader in clinical education and talent development.
The Manager of Student Services provides strategic direction and operational oversight for all Nursing and Allied Health academic partnerships and clinical placements across the Saint Alphonsus Health System. This leader plays a critical role in advancing organizational goals by aligning student programming and career pathway initiatives with workforce strategies, ensuring sustainable pipelines for Nursing and Allied Health professionals.
This role ensures that academic partnerships are aligned with workforce demands and contributes to sustainable, high-quality clinical education experiences. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing strategies to strengthen and expand academic partnerships, optimizing innovative clinical education models, and enhance student experiences. In collaboration with academic partners, the Manager will leverage data-driven insights to inform innovative approaches that improve patient outcomes, elevate educational quality, and address current and future Nursing and Allied Health workforce needs.
This position manages the entire Student Services team, including the Program Manager of Clinical Experiences, Education Affiliation Agreement Coordinators, and Education Coordinators ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment with organizational goals. The team is responsible for all Nursing and Allied Health Education Affiliation Agreements and coordinating clinical placements across the health system. Through visionary leadership, the Manager enhances student experiences and strengthens Saint Alphonsus’ reputation as an employer of choice and supports recruitment and retention efforts.
General Requirements:
+ Must possess a comprehensive clinical knowledge of student clinical experiences, program development, and school education programs as normally obtained through a minimum of 3 years of experience in variety of healthcare settings with supervisory experience, clinical education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Proven experience in team leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Deep understanding of clinical education, academic partnerships, and healthcare workforce trends.
+ Strong communication, relationship-building, strategic thinking and managing complex initiatives.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Master's degree preferred.
License/Certification:
+ Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse. Must provide licensure or proof of application in process for Oregon within 6 months of hire.
