Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology and payments industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Enterprise Cloud Architect to join their dynamic team. As an Enterprise Cloud Architect, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting the cloud infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Enterprise Cloud Architect
**Location:** Berkeley Heights, NJ or Omaha, NE (preference on NJ)
What's the Job?
+ Lead the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of Azure cloud services and solutions tailored to project requirements.
+ Ensure security and compliance standards are maintained across all Azure environments, including oversight of Azure Security Center and Azure Policy.
+ Design scalable, reliable, and secure Azure-based solutions aligned with business needs and best practices.
+ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to realize architectural visions efficiently.
+ Lead migration projects, orchestrating seamless transitions from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure, including cloud-native enhancements.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Architect.
+ Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Entra ID, Azure Monitor, and Azure Sentinel.
+ Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
+ Experience with network configuration, security concepts, high availability, disaster recovery, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
