We are seeking an experienced **Building Engineer -Maintenance Technician** with a strong background in building systems maintenance. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and infrastructure while demonstrating independence, professionalism and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance on building systems. Systems including heating, cooling, air handling, water treatment, office furniture, electrical and lighting fixtures, A/V systems, kitchenette appliances, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, fire prevention system and alarm management.

+ Conduct equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain optimal performance.

+ Conduct contractor coordination and scheduling.

+ Execute preventive maintenance programs and implement quick fixes to minimize downtime.

+ Support facilities operations by assisting with general maintenance tasks.

+ Handle office and conference room furniture moves, coordinating with executive staff.

+ Perform mowing, trimming, weeding and general property clean up.

+ Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure safety and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Preferably an HVAC Certificate/Degree or Associate’s in maintenance.

+ 0-2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.

+ Ability to think outside the box, self-motivated, trustworthy, and willing to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Significant experience in building maintenance, including HVAC systems and general facility operations.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

+ Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

+ Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.

+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain attention to detail.

+ Commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable standards.

**Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
