What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors, maintaining awareness of any restricted areas.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical situations.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors in the aerospace and defense environment.

+ Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for the handling and carrying of firearms, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
